Friday's football match

Did you catch, Friday’s Football match,

it was just amazing to see.

Wensleydale won, eight goals to one,

the best result in history.

Playing like a team, you should have seen,

the way they passed the ball.

They tacked well, and it was easy to tell,

that they had no fear at all.

Autumn is on its way

Temperature's are dropping, growth is stopping,

and the leaves are turning brown.

Lock your summer hut, give the grass a final cut,

and take your holiday cards down.

It's darker at night, the sun's not quite so bright,

and there's a slight chill in the air.

Birds are migrating, animals have stopped mating,

and it's goodbye to the brown bear.
