A quiet weekend
Many didn't go out, there were few people about,
and so the shops decided to shut at two.
People stayed indoors, talking, playing, doing chores,
and found other interesting things to do.
The Melted Cheese have a new record
Love underground, is this bands latest sound,
and it combines rap music with rock.
It's expected to do well, but you can never tell,

A choir competiton
The Caerphilly choir, have a strong desire,
to win the Wensleydale singing competition.
They train every day, because in this way,
they can concentrate on achieving their mission.
They rehearse every verse, and sing everything,
as this is a good way to train.
They rest ever hour, to refresh their voice power,
and then start all over again.

Bobby's safety talks are going well
You can tell, that Bobby's talks are going well,
because every event is packed out.
People are glad they went, feel more confident,
and now have less fear and self doubt.
For two more weeks, he'll talk about techniques,
to keep yourself and others alive.
So go and join the queue, you'll learn things new,
to help yourself and others survive.

The 1st round of judging
Such amazing voices, such difficult choices,
it's a decision the judges have to take.
They don't have very long, to score every song,
and then a decision they have to make.

Love underground is doing well
It's in the top 20, record sales are plenty,
and the Melted Cheese are on everyone's mind.
It's a fairy tale, for this band from the Vale,
a more talented group you'll not find.
They're on the radio, will play a TV show,
and have given up their day time work.
There music is loud, but everyone's so proud,
and their fans are going berserk!
