The airport is expanding and people are demanding,
that work on the site is delayed,
They need to find a solution to the growing pollution,
and many are worried and afraid.

There's gas and fumes, noise in people's rooms,
and it's killing many animals and plants,
It's very hard to breath and people need to believe,
that there won't be a second chance.

Get it wrong and many species will be gone.

Tuesday 1st April 2008 - April Fools Day
It's April fools, so please follow these golden rules.
Do nothing for personal gain, nothing to cause pain,
and be careful of other folk.
Do nothing to cause distress, don't make a mess,
and remember it's only a joke.

Do nothing to cause danger, no jokes on a stranger,
and think of the effect of what you do.
Keep it light hearted, remember what you started,
and how would you feel, if it was you?

There were some great April fool jokes yesterday.

Everyone got a fright, when they heard about plans to drive on the right.
There was fear on everyone's face, as they read about visitors from outer space.
People got annoyed, to discover that Wensleydale's Well was to be destroyed.
Most Cheasies were up in arms, about the news to close all of Wensleydale's farms.
There was a massive protest, about plans to carry out a nuclear test.

Obviously none of these stories were true, it was an April fools joke on you.

Next week is 'get fit week' in Wensleydale

Cycling is clean, cycling is green,
and it's fun and good exercise.
Walk, bike, go for a good hike
it's great for your heart and thighs.

Go for a swim, get down to the gymn,
build and shape your physique,
push, pump, run, skip and jump,
starting Monday is 'get fit week.'
Friday 4th April 2008
There's a demonstration at Wensleydale airport.

There's a massive crowd, shouting out loud,
'don't let Wensleydale airport grow'.
This unpopular decision for building permission,
will have a negative impact you know.

Animals will die, surrounding farmland will get dry,
and the air will get very, very stale.
Plants will stop growing, streams will stop flowing,
and nature's healing way will fail.
