Many people are away, over the Easter holiday,
resting, relaxing and entertaining.
Once the holiday has begun, in goes the sun,
and it always seems to start raining.
Time and time again, it starts pouring with rain,
and a chilly wind blows across the Vale.
Trying to get anywhere, will cause you despair,
as there are delays all day, without fail.

The Melted Cheese are playing
They're getting big and tomorrow play a gig,
in the main hall of the Stilton Hotel.
Tickets are sold out and there is no doubt,
that they're going to do very well.
They have ambitious plans, extremely loyal fans,
and even have a recording deal.
It's a local success tale and being born in the Vale,
gives their music a real cheesy feel.

The Melted Cheese warm up
This afternoon, the band will practice every tune,
to make sure they get it just right.
Four hours testing and then two hours of resting,
to ensure they're perfect for tonight.
It will be 3 hours of fun and once they've begun,
you'll be amazed by the sights and sounds.
There's an amazing show, visible from every row,
well worth the ticket price of fifty pounds.

Today's a beautiful warm day, sun blazing away,
with a warm and fresh light breeze.
People have a smile, are dressed in summer style,
and the birds sing happily in the trees.
It's lighter at night, the sky is blue and bright
and people feel positive and alive,
An ideal day to see a friend, fix, repair or mend,
and great weather for a country drive.

Gas pricing are rising, which is not surprising,
but a 20 percent rise this year?
I feel sorry for the old, who really feel the cold and
they may get quite sick I fear.
The cost of living is growing, savings are slowing,
and many have no money to spare,
House prices are falling, personal taxes are soaring,
to the benefit of the rich, which is unfair.
