I'm a vandal, I'm a vandal, as I grip my hammer handle,
and hammer and hammer till it's mine.
At last I've made a dent, in this ancient monument,
I'm cool, I'm hard, I'll do the time.

Later on today, you'll be able to buy it on bay,
and bidding starts with a fifty pound reserve.
Stones silent on Salisbury plain, now their gain,
let's hope they gain exactly what they deserve!

As they quickly disappear, with this ancient souvenir,
they've taken something from both you and me.
A ring of stones intact, the worst of it all, is the fact,
that they've stolen a piece of our ancient history!
