Let the train take the strain, or is it a pain,
it certainly is when you arrive 10 hrs late.
We changed twice, the staff weren't nice,
but at least we got there on the right date!

We stopped near a park, had to walk in the dark,
I think we were somewhere in France.
There was no information, I know we've left the station,
if you travel by train, you take a chance.

We arrived to applause, I'm not sure of the cause,
but I know that I feel like I'm Royalty.
At least I've survived, at least I've now arrived,
and have a voucher to reward my loyalty!
