But, But, But - I'm stuck in a rut
Stuck in a rut
Monday, Monday, not a fun day,
the beginning of a long week.
Tuesday again, more of the same,
Luckily tomorrow's midweek.
Wednesday's here, hip, hip I cheer,
two days until the weekend.
Thursday, excited, tomorrow delighted,
who will I see, what will I spend.
Friday I call my day, yes it is payday,
at last it's all come to and end.
Just 48 hrs relief for 120 of grief,
maybe a fair exchange.
At least it's a job, pays a few bob,
anyway, what can I change?
